It all started back in 1954, when Pressalit was first established. In the beginning, the business consisted of the production and sales of toilet seats, later joined by bathroom products for the physically disabled in the 1970s.

In the 1980s, the first Pressalit administrative headquarter was located in the city of Aarhus, Denmark, while the production facilities were located in the small nearby town Ry. As the company experienced increased success, the need for a new headquarter with sufficient space for all of the employees emerged – and it was decided to place it in Ry thereby uniting the various functions of Pressalit in close proximity to each other.

In 1991 Maglehøj, the new headquarter of Pressalit, saw the light of day. With a unique location in the middle of the fantastic scenery of Ry, close to historic burial grounds and breathtaking landscapes, the building was spectacular for many reasons and provided new opportunities for Pressalit.

In this new video, Kim and Dan Boyter will give you the story about Pressalit, the Maglehøj headquarter and the unique location of Ry in celebration of the building’s 25th anniversary and the vision it presented back then as well as now.
